186 miles in 24 hours: complete
IT WILL BE FUN.
Still reeling a bit, but overall, the experience was sort of like this:
IT WILL BE FUN.
(Spoiler: it TOTALLY WAS.)
186 miles in 24 hours
I don’t talk about running very much on this blog, but I’m leaving town in a few hours to get ready for something awesome, and I wanted to share. Starting tomorrow morning, 11 other people and I will be running the 186-ish miles between Plymouth and Provincetown as part of Ragnar Cape Cod. It should be just over a day of sweaty, smelly, exhausting fun, including a middle-of-the-night run up a 3-mile-long hill.
If you’re on the Cape this weekend and see someone wearing this shirt, please say hi! And maybe toss us a bottle of water.
(If you’re curious about what it’s like to spend 24 straight hours crammed into a van with crazy runners, follow us Friday and Saturday at @capepitstains.)
Bliss.
I started running about six months ago. Lately, this is what makes me most happy:
First Ragnar in eight weeks; first half marathon in ten. Wish me luck!
